Iron Bow Technologies Awarded Social Security Administration Contract Valued at $120 Million
CHANTILLY, Va. –(Business Wire)–
Iron Bow Technologies, an information technology solutions provider, has
been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract by the Social
Security Administration (SSA). The contract is valued at $120 million
with a period of performance of two years and nine months. Iron Bow will
provide Cisco (News – Alert) network infrastructure and related support services to the
SSA.
The contract with Iron Bow will effectively save the SSA millions of
dollars by comparison to their previous BPA by delivering cutting-edge
technologies which operate faster and with greater energy efficiency.
This is especially important for federal agencies today, given IT budget
sensitivities and the federal government looking for cost-cutting
measures.
